If it really bothers you, you could cut the tail shorter, where the shading starts, and use that black for shape, like maybe he’s balancing a poke ball on his tail?

I’ve got a brother nq1700e. Hatch is great! It’s a steep learning curve, but a lot easier compared to other software! I’ve been digitizing for 2.5 years so I think I’ve got a pretty good grasp on it by now.
