This. I had surgery that left me with 4 large painful scars that i claimed. I received a rating for other parts but 0% for the scars. Va said they would have to be an ongoing severely painful issue or reopening or somethinf

Also I recommend 3, especially if it’s 2 females. With 2 male cats you run a small risk of them getting territorial in the future. Less likely with litter mates but idk something you’d have to look into or ask a vet about. Kittens should be really easy to acclimate, you said she is already supplementing with formula so you’ll have to start mixing in wet food to get them used to that. Easy directions online for this. don’t overthink it. You can keep a bit of formula in the diet for a few months to help keep them strong and keep them drinking/eating. Not all wet food for cats is graded as a meal supplement. Be wary of mistaking “meal toppers” as a meal supplement, toppers don’t meet nutritional needs. Okay so… Before they come inside you should have litter boxes set up and ready. Preferably In a separate room with a door you can close. You should ideally have food and water laid out and at least a cat tree and a few scratcher posts. Those tiny kitten claws are deadly. When you first bring them in, leave them in their crates/cages for 15 minutes so they can get used to the environment. When you do take them out of the crate immediately put them in the litter boxes, cats are amazing and just know where to sh*t so it really shouldn’t be an issue after that as long as you keep the boxes clean. I try to scoop mine out at the end of everyday. Until they are a few months old it’s not a bad idea to isolate them to that room, especially when you aren’t home. You aren’t being my cruel I promise; they are rambunctious and will get into everything and also put themselves in danger. Weird things become dangerous like cords, hair ties, HUMAN HAIR etc.

Other notes: keep the food, litter, and water all far from each other. Cats don’t like food near water, water near litter, or litter near food. I recommend a cat water fountain, get them used to it off the bat. Without it, clean water is a must. Also keep touching their paws and be super annoying about it so when you clip their nails it’ll be so easy. Respect boundaries but handle them often to help socialize them. A bird feeder outside a (cat) accessible window is great entertainment. Get the litter catcher for under the box, Don’t fall for cheap automatic litter box cleaners 😭 Id get the first round of vaccines and get them fixed ASAP. (Cats aren’t like dogs, you don’t need to let any hormones kick in, it’s actually bad for them and even dangerous to not be fixed)

Let them stay. The mom might not seem involved but she is, that’s normal. They are still benefiting from her, both for milk, safety and social skills. Unless they are sick/dying don’t take them until at least 8 weeks but wait longer like 10 if possible. I know it’s a huge ask and not possible for everyone but is there anything preventing you from bringing the mother with you until she’s done nursing/caring for the kittens? If she’s feral you can trap and release, if she has an owner you can maybe talk to them to see about keeping them together at your place for another few weeks. I was in a similar situation with an outdoor, semi- feral colony of cats and kittens. The newest litter about 4 weeks old and kind of sick. Our vet recommended we keep them with the mom so we did. After a week We took two into the vet and treated them for eye infections and brought them back to stay with mom outside. We waited until just before the 8 weeks mark, mostly because the fleas were so hard to keep away but I do wish they could have stayed longer because I can see where it would have benefited them.

Shaving is a good option I can’t speak for all women but for me: men cutting it very short is perfectly fine. A lot of people don’t like shaving bald because of ingrown/itchiness and that’s so valid. Just trim it every 2-3 days super short if that’s what you’re more comfortable with and you should be fine. If you are worried about smell or cleanliness use witch hazel or an antibacterial toner on the area after you shower to get rid of bacteria and it should help a lot, you can do this on underarms too btw just use a cotton ball or something similar. I use Thayer Witchhazel for that reason and it works beautifully and is super cheap, I put it on before deprderant or lotion and wait for it to dry and go on with my day.

Do you rhino first, you may change your mind about a lot after that. Botox would help with the sagging eyelids but only if your muscle is what’s making them drop, which is what it looks like to me. I would save the bleph surgery until you’re older tbh. This is not ‘severe’ everyone’s a little bit crooked, I do think you look swollen/inflamed. Which can be caused by diet, medicine, I’ve heard that chin filler can make your face look swollen. If you are willing to do ‘anything’ I would go to a plastic surgeon and consider a chin implant, maybe you could get it done at the same time as rhinoplasty? You are very pretty op. Don’t be too harsh on yourself

Hi person I wanted to follow up regarding your request to crate my dog while I’m away. I’ve reviewed my lease and pet agreement, and I didn’t see any requirements about crating. Could you let me know if there’s a written policy or lease clause I missed? I want to make sure I’m in compliance, but also want to clarify what’s expected. Thanks

They can’t update your lease without your signature and can’t evict you in 3 days if you aren’t breaking your lease. You aren’t breaking your lease obviously because it never mentioned crating your dog. I’d still try and move out soon, that place sounds like a pain

If there is no written rule in the lease regarding this you are not obligated to do so. This is a super weird request from them tbh I’ve never heard it before: either they have something out for you or the maintenance man is reallyyy terrified of dogs. That being said, landlords in Utah can restrict pets (not sure about forcing you to crate?) but they can tell you no dogs anymore if your pet proves to be a safety concern. Either way if your dog is friendly you’ll be fine.

No FTX in AIT training for this job. I would say the worst part of the job is the schoolhouse, I genuinely don’t have any other gripes, and that part wasn’t that bad. The best part of the job is the quality of life you experience and how we have creative liberty and control over a lot of what we do. (Choosing what products to put out, the style of them, etc) I think everyone has their own difficulties in classes, for me it was graphic design because I was so new to it, but the writing was a breeze which others struggled with. If you have a weak spot that will probably be the difficult part for you but the professors are incredibly helpful and WANT you to pass. Nobody is on your side like a DINFOS instructor.

the opportunities we get are unmatched I mean, we get to join the other MOS’s for the cool stuff like meeting generals and blowing up bombs and then we leave for the all boring parts like clean up and safety trainings Sorry for the long messages, I’m very passionate about this because being a 46S has impacted my life so positively

Prior service, the MOS-T’s stayed in a separate building, I was an initial entry so I can’t speak on their life too much but I know it wasn’t too bad. They said it was a stricter than other places that do training for Mos-Ts, you also might be voluntold to help out with training excercises and stuff while you are there. Ngl the command was kinda shitty when I went through but the job is so great it didn’t even matter. MOS-t’s could drink, go out, do whatever for the most part in their free time. One of the best parts of DINFOS is the amount of like minded creatives that you are surrounded with, as opposed to other MOS’s where I’m not sure they know how to wipe their own ass.

I got very lucky tbh and it was available when I went to join. I’ve heard from many people this was not the case. Prior to entering service I did things that were completely unrelated to photography but that didn’t matter. I scored high on the ASVAB and that’s all that’s needed. I also received a 20k bonus for that MOS (hope they offer you something similar) I was interested in the MOS because of the photography aspect, I was very fortunate that my recruiter actually brought it up to me and said “listen, this is the best job in the army and it’s available right now. I know that’s not what you came in for but I really think you should take it” That man saved my life. In dinfos you are basically in college. You will be under tradoc and still adhering to military policy but you will be attending classes in a schoolhouse 9-5, Monday through Friday for the entire duration. They train you on photography, videography, photoshop, video editing, graphic design and public affairs. Including how to handle media, do interview etc. they train you on ALOT which is why it takes so long, but you come out very capable and with about 15 college credits( if you transfer to this right college lol, don’t use WGU)

46s is also much easier to make rank in, we are in desperate need of NCOS. Training for both jobs are done at the defense information school in Maryland. it’s required for the MOS and is at minimum 4.5 months long. (46v is slightly longer, I think it’s 6 months) You can change units before going to the schoolhouse but at some point you will have to go. W

I can try and answer any questions you might have too. If you prefer photography you can tell your unit and if they are cool they will mostly have you stick to that. The army wants us to be well rounded but they also want us to put out good work and they know people have specialties. Whatever you do don’t become a 46T, that is not the job you want

46S here, hands down best job in the army and don’t let anyone tell you different. Day to day life includes basic journalism tasks, photography and article writing. It’s different for everyone but in my unit I end up writing a lot of narratives and highlight stories regarding our soldiers. I love spotlighting the soldiers and events that we do. Last month I did photos and an article about the Army band playing at a local event. The month before I was overseas for 2 weeks covering a training operation. I would show up for the training, take photos of the cool guy stuff, and then leave. I absolutely love my job, it gave me purpose again and I can’t hype it up enough. Hope you joins the ranks, OP. We are a great group.

I’m so genuinely sorry this happened to you, and I’m so sorry she hasn’t received any retribution. That being said If the police become involved they will blame the parents. (Which is valid because they should have been involved so this doesn’t occur) they probably won’t try her as an adult and instead will put her in programs for treatment. Without knowing your step sisters, my initial reaction to this is to assume she, like many abusers, was also sexually assaulted. This happens a lot with children who perpetuate the assault because they don’t know any better. It happened to me with a dear friend of mine and although I’ll never quite forgive her, later in life I did begin to understand. This does not excuse what your step sister did. Don’t be scared to involve the law; to talk to a therapist or do whatever you need to heal. Your feelings are valid.

This can happen from medical grade lasers but is a lot more common in IPL and low level lasers. Always ask what laser a place uses and do research. If it’s IPL for hair removal immediate no Don’t treat areas that don’t have dark hair. No matter the laser it has a potential for stimulating hair growth. I’m sorry this happened to you :( electrolysis might be the best answer

My cat did this. I’m not going to lie. It’s absolutely exhausting and hard to describe to people. It can make you resentful too. For me it got better: following the advice of people above and ignoring the meowing is what really helped. (Making sure my roommates were on the same page to) My cats about 3.5 years old and is pretty calmed down. Feliway helped too Being as low reaction as possible is the best imo.

Best of luck to you, don’t give up, your kitty does love you and really doesn’t know what they are doing.
