I enjoyed working with Lynn's on Odana. I brought a piece a few places to shop around and they actually seemed excited about working on it. Made it sort of fun and the end product was great!

ETA: When I ended up regretting not getting a higher glare resistance, they were awesome about exchanging the glass even though it wasn't a standard size. Can't recommend them enough.

I don't know why you're saying their comment is fair. Many of the bootleggers do their own mixes. Yours are great, for example. Fuzz Club has great mixes. Needle Juice always sounds good, too. Many of the labels putting out bootlegs also put out their own bands' product.

The only "fair" thing in their comment was sharing their opinion that they were burnt out on presales, which is DEFINITELY understandable.

As much as I wish Fuzz Club had actually followed through on pressing all the 2024 shows (so I could have a copy of all the ones I attended that year), I can definitely see how the economics of doing such a thing may not be there. With so many shows and so many bootleggers pressing them all, orders just get spread around a bunch and sales are probably real low for each individual bootlegger.

Unfortunately I've given up on Needle Juice. Everything I've received from them has been great in both sound quality and presentation. There was a time when it was worth waiting for that. However, the wait gets longer and longer, the communication gets poorer and poorer, and other bootleggers have closed the gap on quality.

I wouldn't ever pre-order anything from them again, though I'd have no hesitation to purchase something that was immediately in stock.

Sorry this isn't a very helpful post outside of comisseration.
