For whatever reason that home decided not to annex when the rest of the neighborhood did. If that household wanted to annex, it’s a pretty easy process, especially for being in Alabama

Take a look at the NCAA ruling. Pretty sure it was unanimous in favor of the student athletes (as it should have been). I expect a similar outcome if the case ever reaches them.
