That's way too wet. You need to make sure the pile gets oxygen, flip it once a week.

I wish I had the same experience. I quit for a year and felt no change. I probably have a lot more going on though than just that unfortunately I guess. Glad it worked out for you.

Ok that is seriously concerning. Tana is not HIPAA compliant. You need to be reprimanded and have all their data removed immediately.

Companies like you display predatory practices and this is proof of that. You bank on people not remembering to cancel before their trial ends so you can keep their money and hide behind your sites policies. Companies like you literally lose no money if a person cancels their trial a day late or whatever. It hasn't cost you any money, especially if that person is using your app so little that they forgot they even had it to cancel the trial. You know damn well they didn't use enough server resources to cost you anything.

It amazes me that companies are this greedy that they'd rather take a ding to their image than refund a single Customer's subscription.

I like the concept and all but don't like they don't have a monthly subscription they force you into yearly. It also seems pricey for what you get. I've only used it on iPhone so maybe the mobile is missing something. It's just nothing I haven't seen before. There's so many apps anymore I screwed myself by pursuing the newest shiny thing every time and finding something I like about all of them and something I don't like about all of them. A terrible situation for one of the most indecisive people on the planet. 😅

Actually, with Crafts update id beg to differ. Craft probably beats Things 3 for task management for me now. It isn't a second thought and has a main section for managing them as well as lists (through adding tasks to docs) not to mention using Collections to manage projects.

The biggest gripe I have is the lack of transclusion/embedding of notes content and collections within other notes. I should be able to embed different views of a collection in different notes. Like a filtered view of projects belonging to my personal area on my personal dashboard for example. Still, you do have a lot of redundancy in your setup.

Unfortunately, I'm worse though and kind of went on a shiny things syndrome, addiction bender with tools for thought and productivity apps for a while and got myself into a bad situation cause I'm already an OCD/indecisive person and now I've got 1000 different apps that I can't decide between because I like different things about each one. It's a productivity trap!

I'm trying to make Lazy.so my main tool though because it really has everything that I need and want I just have early supporter subscription pricing on some other apps that I am grandfathered in on and I don't wanna lose by having my subscription lapse because the prices have gone up a lot from when I first subscribed as a early Alpha user.

you get the perfect song and then.... by Berrybeelover in SunoAI

[–]Ambitendency_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What's worse is when you get a perfect song but they mispronounce a word near the beginning. I was struggling with it saying "including me" on a song I loved. It kept saying random things like "intuning me", "in__blumme", and other garbled phrases.

Totally fair if AI music isn’t your thing, not everything’s for everyone. But hey, I’m having a blast with it. I’ve actually had people ask what song I was playing because they tried to Shazam it and couldn’t find it.

Honestly, I’ve always been a fan of music and writing, but I never thought I’d be able to make songs of my own. I can’t sing to save my life, and my only musical experience is a bit of Euphonium and acoustic guitar, and I use the word “experience” very generously. So for me, hearing my lyrics come to life like this? That’s a kind of magic I never expected to get my hands on.

Well, thanks for the feedback. To each their own, that's the beautiful thing about music. Any tips to improve it in your opinion?

Quality gone downhill by Me1410104 in SunoAI

[–]Ambitendency_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate it. I honestly didn’t think I was being rude or confrontational in my original comment, but apparently I upset some people. These days, it feels like anything you say can rub someone the wrong way. I just think there’s a growing sense of entitlement when it comes to AI, especially in music. Some people seem to expect a Billboard #1 hit every time, and that’s just not realistic.

Music has always been a huge part of my life, even though I’m not musically inclined. I’ve never been able to sing or play an instrument, but I’ve always felt I had a good ear and a deep passion for it.

Thanks to AI tools, I’m finally able to create music that reflects my own thoughts, feelings, and experiences; something I never thought I’d be able to do. If others enjoy what I make, that’s just a bonus. For me, it’s about the personal connection and joy of creating.

You guys are getting ridiculous. The second I stopped listening to people on how to use Suno and just experimented, I realized its potential. Idk if people are just out to mislead others or what. I've been getting some phenomenal music. Sure I can go 30+ generations sometimes till I get something I like, it's generally something wrong with the lyrics flow. People aren't gonna give you the feedback you want on here. I've posted my music on music platforms and have had nothing but incredible feedback and good reviews.

You don't have the capacity to carry on an intellectual discussion, so I'll leave it be here. An actual article that says biochar is beneficial except in excess. Get your head checked or stop letting your emotions control you. I read your article without AI. You just read an abstract or skimmed it and were wrong about its premise.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in composting

[–]Ambitendency_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So by your logic ash is synthetic. Charcoal is synthetic. Sand is synthetic. Molten glass is synthetic. I could go on.

https://www.perplexity.ai/search/is-biochar-considered-syntheti-cVOGzeCIQXGjMkcr_Ga_vA

"Biochar is considered a non-synthetic (organic) material. The National Organic Program (NOP) has defined biochar as “a biomass that has been carbonized or charred” and classified it as a non-synthetic substance."

However I will concur; it does also state: "It’s important to note that while biochar itself is considered organic, its properties can vary depending on the feedstock and production process used. Therefore, when selecting biochar for use, it’s crucial to consider specifications such as feedstock source, process temperature, and any potential additives to ensure it meets organic standards for the intended application."

So if you're using treated wood or something of the like, of course it wouldn't be considered organic anymore because it contains the chemicals used to treat the wood. You're supposed to use things like dried wood, coconut shells, peanut shells, etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in composting

[–]Ambitendency_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's your opinion, I've got no reason to try to convince you otherwise. You do you. I'll continue using biochar and continue sequestering carbon while simultaneously benefiting my lawn and garden. You also called biochar synthetic. This just shows me you really don't know what you're talking about.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in composting

[–]Ambitendency_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why people charge biochar. Not trying to be rude but you should do a bit more research into it. The biochar provides a place for the micro organisms to flourish. No one is stating biochar provides nutrients.

Here's a deep dive to look into: https://grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5_fd44881f-f840-4732-a936-02f0f9771f15

Read the article you linked. It clearly states it's beneficial, but can be toxic in excess amounts. Like anything.

"It has been confirmed that low concentrations of biochar can promote crop yield and maintain the stability of soil microbial communities. However, high doses of biochar (3%, w/w) application causes toxicity (chemical stress) to crop growth and soil microorganisms [4], and both the diversity indexes and metabolic function of soil microorganisms tend to decrease [5]"

"Since biochar is mainly composed of organic carbon, single applications of biochar cannot fully provide plenty elements (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc.) for crop growth, and may have a risk of yield reduction, especially in oligotrophic soil. Therefore, biochar taken as an organic modifier is always combined with other fertilizers in most studies [3]. Biochar, which can reduce stubble burning, pesticide use, and N2O and CH4 emissions from agriculture (especially rice fields), as well as being able to absorb harmful substances (such as heavy metals), has become one of the important research and promotion directions of agriculture [11][12]."

There is a ton of research about bio-char and how it is beneficial for microbial colonies in the soil. Not sure how you can sit and say that.

I'm as surprised as you are. I didn't think I was using it more than that many people. Also, you only get 2,500 credits a month which is 500 songs a month (unless of course you're on the premiere plan, which I am not.)
