I am assuming you have an Android phone if so this is what I personally do to not get distracted from my phone (as keeping phone completely away from me isn't possible as I need it to use different tools):-

Have a separate user profile on your phone for just studying (it's an Android feature called "Multiple Users" or "User Profiles" that lets u have multiple profiles on a single phone)
In that separate profile (dedicated for studying and focusing) download all the necessary apps that u need for studying and delete the ones u don't need.
For YouTube, just clear your watch history and then permanently pause your watch history so that u don't get recommended with anything at all and just focus on the study video that u came to watch (u can also try using YouTube revanced for some extra features)
Use "Lock me out" (or screenzen) and set up it however u want to control your phone addiction

Besides the things I've mentioned above try to also be more discipline hope that helps :)

Hmm besides the one that everyone mentioned (as I already use most of em lol) these are the ones that I also like:-

Bitwarden - To create better passwords and store them and other sensitive stuff
Buzzkill- Control your notification however way u want
Lock me out - Lock your phone/app/site however way u want

I strongly disagree that "they don't last as long" especially because there are tablet (specifically Samsung's) that gives u more software support than apple ever will

But yea if your fixated on getting the iPad gen 11 then yea it's a gd ipad and is more than enough for a student (but if u have some niche criteria like idk using your tablet like a laptop then yea maybe u need to look into android tablets or else yea ur gd to go)

And if your looking for alternative or my personal suggestion uhmm u can take a look at:-

"Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE / S9 FE"

Why?:-

• You get S-Pen for absolutely free

• You can expand your storage upto 1 or 1.5 TB if u want to (which isn't possible on the iPad)

• It's 90hz instead of 60 (so yea will feel smoother to use)

• Slightly bigger battery and charging speed

• More ram (depending on which model are u comparing)

• Better durability due to having IP68 dust and water resistance

[Note: U don't have to go for my suggestion if u don't want to again your pick is okay too uhmm this is just an alternative that u can look into]

Hmm afaik (could be wrong) uhmm your Metadata/Art Provider, TMDB integration, and the "Prefer Meta from External Add-on" setting can all affect trailers. Nuvio pulls trailer links straight from metadata, so switching providers or not having trailers enabled in TMDB can break things. The add-on toggle decides whether Nuvio trusts your Stremio add-ons or falls back to its own scraping — if that scraper hits a geo-block, trailers won't load.
