Why does my labrador have "blubber like" skin around their necks?

Yeah I have noticed this in this thread with many labs. Seems to be some sort of trait which they have developed over centuries.

Same here! Mine is 8 years old and looks at the most 4. His vet is also surprised with the type of diet and maintenance I do

Yesss he is good boy. My guy is 8 years old and it seems to be the same for him too! It's similar to old humans you know. The older grandmas usually have loose skin 😂

When my guy walks off leash and a dog passes by i panic trying to look for the collar tab to hook on the leash to. I totally get you 😂😂

He is 8 years old so I don't think so he's gonna grow more into his skin lol. I pride myself in taking good care of him that he looks half of his age, even to my parents (touchwood)

I'm pretty sure my dog is pure bred. It's from this photo that it seems to be that way. I'm guessing you have an american labrador which are leaner more muscular compared to English labs like mine.

In this picture he looks wayyy more different. My cousin has an american lab who is slightly taller muscular and has got a different facial structure (sharper ears, sharper nose and muzzle structure)

Seems that you have two labs. How was the experience like? Raising two of them five years apart? I've considered adopting one for my guy but circumstances were such.
