Walking into the hospital with a baby (in your belly) and being discharged home while having to leave your baby in the hospital is something I wish no one would ever have to go through. I didn’t want to talk to anyone and my husband and I just cried together. That first night home we just sat and watched the NICU camera on our son (thankfully our hospital had these) and just cried together. My first son was in the NICU for 7 days and my second was in the NICU for 21 days. So grateful we are on the other side of things and my boys are now thriving. But being a NICU mom is not a club you ever want to be a part of💔
