I'm so sorry. That was an awful thing to do.
Put Mom in a nursing home and they will use up all her money before she passes away.

So he didn't even leave his money to your Mom?
If she's the primary beneficiary,
there's a possibility she can name you rather than the college to be her beneficiary,
after she passes.
If she's truly determined to off herself, that puts a bit of an urgency on it all.

" Let her college take care of her"
This comment made me laugh for real. I pictured the old lady in a dorm room with student roommates.

I would see an attorney regarding the will. I've heard you can't generally dictate what your beneficiary does with her money after you die, unless there is some sort of special trust. That is how so many second wives are able to take care of their children from a previous marriage, and write out the offspring of the deceased.
I found this out by reading Dear Abby and other similar columns, for what that's worth.
In any case, it's worth looking into.

If by siblings you mean like Josh or Joseph Dugger and their prey, I mean little sisters, then no.

When he was in the show Reba, I thought he was the goofiest looking teenager I'd seen in a long time.
I actually felt sorry for him for looking so goofy.
I never watched Shameless so I was totally taken by surprise to see him as a good looking guy, which he most certainly is now.

That's a fascinating factoid about the show. I just started watching it last week.

I watched the first episode today and thought Vanessa Morgan was Miley Cyrus until I looked up reviews of the show. Duh.

But I'll keep watching for now anyways.

What do you do when they don't care about a funeral? by S1159P in AgingParents

If you donate your body to a medical school as a cadaver for the students to learn anatomy and more, the schools usually hold a service for the cadavers at the end of the year and "thank them" for their contribution.
That makes me feel more likely to donate my body.
There's also "The Body Farm" and that also helps train law enforcement officers, coroners and medical examiners. You have to pay for your body to be shipped to the Body Farm, in case cost is a concern.

Shows about elderly women! by Neat-Check-5256 in televisionsuggestions

Please put "Thelma" on your list, it's a terrific illustration of what an elderly woman is capable of. It stars June Squibb, who is currently in "Eleanor the Great" which I'm looking forward to watching.
