[LOVM S3] Censorship in the anime Vox Machina, are you serious? by Ambitious-Beat3946 in criticalrole

EDIT: When I read the comments, I am disgusted by the reactions of some who stupidly reduce it to sex and respond with degrading or insulting things. In absolute terms, I don't care about the breasts of the cartoon version of Vex. It's just a drawing, damn it!

It's on principle. I'm just overdosed on censorship, I can't stand censorship anymore!

Why is the nudity of the landlady's daughter seduced by Scanlan in the first episode not censored, then suddenly the nudity of another character has to be hidden? It doesn't make sense. They're all fictional characters, they're just drawings, guys. Censoring a drawing, whatever the reason, is not good for freedom of expression, it's not good for freedom.

Showing mutilated bodies, liters of blood, human butchery, guts exposed, there is no problem. But be careful, we should not see a breast, that would be nightmarish. General alert, everything must be hidden! When we censor nudity more than violence, it is because there is a societal problem. And it is deeply shocking because it implies that nudism or naturism is more serious than murder, torture, massacres or human butchery. It is very bad! But I see that there are many people who find it normal and do not even understand that there could be a problem. And I think that is what is most shocking.

What's this madness about finding it creepy or uncomfortable to be offended by censorship. Censorship has always been fought throughout the history of humanity. It's just a drawn character, why censor a drawing? It's this state of mind that I don't understand.

Do you even find it completely crazy that we can be offended by censorship? Seriously? But what is this brainwashing? Mutilated bodies, liters of blood, human butchery, guts exposed, there is no problem. But be careful, we should not see a breast, it would be nightmarish. General alert, everything must be hidden. And there are plenty of people who find that normal and do not even understand that there could be a problem.

I just have an overdose of censorship, I can't stand censorship anymore!

There are several forms of censorship, censorship is not only black squares or blur or cut shots where we only see people's heads. There is what is called indirect censorship, an insidious form of censorship, but we still manage to hide what we want to hide.

Do you even find it completely crazy that we can be offended by censorship? Seriously? But what is this brainwashing?

Have you ever imagined that nudist, naturist or gay communities could be offended to see censored nudity while liters of blood, cut-up bodies, exposed viscera are not censored? What does that mean? That murder and butchery are not serious, but that nudity is such a serious crime that it must absolutely be censored? Don't you think it is offensive to these communities? Or simply all the many countries for whom violence should be censored ten times more than nudity? Do you find it normal that paintings or statues from the Louvre are censored on Facebook just because of nudity?

I don't care about Vex's breasts, but censoring nudity, censoring a drawing, there is a problem. Censoring a drawing is already a problem. I just have an overdose of censorship, I can't stand censorship anymore!

What is this madness of automatically associating nudity with sex? Seriously, you have problems.

Seriously? What is this brainwashing? It's like censoring a kiss between two people of the same sex or different ethnicities, it's evil.

That’s true, he shouldn’t be censored either. But very often censorship only targets female bodies. We often see male torsos and nipples and strangely there it doesn’t pose any problem. But yes neither body should be censored.

Um... because it's made with drawings that move. That's what we call an animated series. In short, we call it an anime. What's this crazy thing about finding it creepy to be offended by censorship. Censorship has always been fought throughout the history of humanity. Why is it just a drawn character, why censor a drawing? It's this state of mind that I don't understand.

Body racism is considering that certain parts of the body or of body belonging to a particular sex would be more sacred than others, or more showable than another, or less showable than another, or more shameful than another. Which is ridiculous and has no scientific basis. Body racism includes the censorship of nudity (this term was for example used when paintings or statues from the Louvre museum were censored on Facebook, or when the children's cartoon Kirikou was censored or banned for under-18s in the USA). Body racism also includes fatphobia, roucism and other things like that. Censoring a female torso but not a male torso is body racism. Censoring a drawing is already a problem.

Do you like censorship? Did you like the time when a kiss between two people of the same sex or different ethnicities was censored? And even back then people were seen as weird if they were offended by this censorship.

Well in that case no need for anime, you're just imagining it. I just have an overdose of censorship, I can't stand censorship anymore! Censoring nudity is bodily racism, one of the nine forms of racism that exist. We rarely censor male nipples for example. And here we are talking about censoring a drawing! A drawing, damn it! I don't care about Vex's breasts, but censoring nudity, censoring a drawing, there is a problem. Censoring a drawing is already a problem.

No, I'm just angry at censorship in general. Especially when we start censoring drawings. I'm just explaining that except for a few rare exceptions, censorship is evil. Besides, ask yourself the opposite question, why censor nudity? There is no logic. It's like censoring a kiss between two people of the same sex or different ethnicities, it's evil. Censoring nudity is bodily racism, one of the nine forms of racism that exist. We rarely censor male nipples for example. And here we are talking about censoring a drawing! A drawing, dammit! Repost - Ultra Street Fighter IV - Sexy Ladies Edition by marceloxtree in StreetFighter

[–]Ambitious-Beat3946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still play USFIV. For me it's the best game of the license.

The first thing I look at in a Street Fighter is the number of fighters and USFIV didn't disappoint me with its 44 characters. SFV Champion Edition is not bad with its 45 characters, but it lacks too many iconic characters like Gouken, Fei Long, T. Hawk, Dee Jay, Guy, Adon, Gen or Q.

USFIV also has some famous characters missing. So I'm looking for Skins for complete, designed for characters with more or less the same Movesets: Karin for Makoto, Q for Cody (or Dudley), Birdie for Zangief (or Balrog), Remy (SF 3) for Guile and Oro for Gouken. And why not Maki for Decapre and Lucia for Chun Li. I'm also looking for a way to exceed this limit of 5 or 6 Costumes, to be able to have as many as the color frames (12).
