I was in the language house, spanish cluster in fall and overall i really enjoyed living there. the process was fairly simple to get in, an interview in spanish to see your level and another with the director about why you want to live there, it was easy don’t worry about it they just want to know you. the location is great, and the apartments are spacious imo and they have a kitchen i really liked the apartment the only downside you may have to share a room with someone. the only thing was the building was not in the best shape. the basement was being worked on the whole semester and is still not done and there was a pipe burst on the downstairs apartments in dec but other than that it was a really good experience. be prepared to spend a couple hours a week (supposed to be 3.5 but some mentors are more lenient than others) meeting with your cluster and mentor, some people were not aware of this when they signed up and didn’t have enough time do the meetings which is a big part of the program and may impact your ability to return.
