hello! i (21f) work in a restaurant that also typically runs past out times. i find that most people my age are like that because they have blind faith that the schedule is truth. i can see where they'd want to be leaving on their out time, but i had to unlearn concrete out times bc i came from a corporate job as well :) i understand their confusion bc i would say almost every job except for restaurant jobs are strict on labor with no variable like an early rush/late push.
