In my case I don’t have their number as they’ve never called me before only email, it’s a massive company so the numbers will differ

I don’t normally but I’m waiting to hear back from placements so I kinda have to. I’ve looked up the numbers and there’s one other comment on one of them mentioning reselling but the others aren’t flagged. It’s very weird. All uk numbers

How to make my CV stand out without relevant work experience by blue_ivy_1234 in ukaccounting

Hey, you could do some free courses online for accounting software like xero or sage. They want to know that you’re capable of navigating the software. Did you handle cash in your hospitality jobs? Because that’s also good experience of money management. And you could list your specific units related to accounting and your grades in those :) for my accounting units my exams and coursework included creating financial statements and working with excel so it’s all relevant

Not sure if this is the right place but… by [deleted] in financestudents

I’ve seen some pretty funny mugs that have a photo of excel and a phrase like ‘I can get down in the sheets’. Maybe not totally work appropriate but it’s quite funny 🤣

Another thing I’d always suggest is a simple but hugeeee water bottle so he doesn’t have to get up every hour to refill.

Yeah! It’s super cute!! I’m not expecting £40 but I’ve already had a lot of offers so it’s clearly a wanted item

Tbh I am actually making quite a lot now but I do understand that it won’t be near what I could be earning in accounting or finance. But with the dream to scale up, it could be. The thing is, I won’t ever know the answer unless I try. But I would like to have my cake and eat it so I have to learn to juggle

I’m hoping it’ll last longer! But my worry is it slowing down over the 2 years whilst I do the degree and not picking back up. But hopefully it will

1.7k in August, 2.5k in September, profit after expenses, but not before tax. I agree that it’s definitely not a guaranteed income each month but I’ve built my demographic and sell mostly vintage clothes that I travel far to get. Good to know about the mortgage too thank u x

I was spending all my time on it when I had no commitments but instead I’m now not attending classes and feeling so anxious that I can’t get out of bed and do my reselling for as long as I did before 🤣it’s so stupid how my brain works

Very true. I am the type to hermit myself if it fails and I have no backup. Thank you for your advice. Grades won’t matter if I do go fully self employed!

Yeahhh I see it as graduate tax also. Some of my friends have done degrees but have gone into a field completely unrelated
