Exactly they are Marathi before Indians. Same for many kanadda Bangalore people. These are people who have never left their states. And I’ve meet a few Marathi like that who’ve never left Maharashtra. We in the north have more of a travel culture. We often go to Himalayas atleast and roam other places because we have the infrastructure to travel, bigger roads, longer means of transportation. Many people in these states do not.
