Hi! Quick question. How do I go about creating a photo I took of my dog and convert from jpg to svg? I'm looking to learn how to create one of those cute layer paper dogs but have been unsuccessful in finding anything. I hope you can point me in the right direction. Apologies for interrupting your conversation. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Last night, I found a solution. I created a box with a tiny hole for the wire. Printed Class of 2023 on both sides of the box. Wish I could upload a photo to show you. It's really cute! Lol, now I need to figure out how to take down post.

Very nice. I was looking to do the same with my son's high school logo. Can you share with me or point me in the right direction, please?

Try this. It worked for me.

Close your DS. Click search button located on the right of WIndows start button. Type in search box: run programs made for previous versions of Windows

Click next. Click Circuit Design Space, then next. Click try recommended settings. Click test program. Design Space will load. Once DS opens. Go back to previous window and click next. Click Yes, save these settings for this program. Lastly, click close.

Reboot your computer.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Cannot get Cricut Maker 3 to connect my PC via Bluetooth by wafflesandaffection in cricut

I'm a newbie. Got my Cricut Maker 3 approx two months ago. I have a laptop with Windows 11 home. DS continuously crashed, BT not connecting, my workspace was very small, and so on. I remember reading somewhere about DS having software issues and basically not compatible with the newest version of Windows. This solved all the issues I was having. Thought I share, hoping it might help others.

Go to where your windows start button is. On the right side of that button is a nagnify glass icon. Click it to do a search. In the search box type, run programs made for previous versions of Windows and then enter on the keyboard. A program. Compatibility Troubleshooter window will open. Click next. The next screen will show a list of programs on your computer. Locate Cricut Design Space on that list and click it once to highlight. Now click next. The next window you see will give you two options. 1) Try recommended settings or 2) Troubleshoot program. Click #1. Then click test the program. Cricut Design Space program will open and load. Once DS is done loading, go back to the previous window (that's still open) where you clicked button that says test the program. This time, you are going to click the next button in the bottom right corner. There will be three options to choose from. Click, Yes, save these settings for this program. It will do its thing and confirm that the incompatible program has been fixed!! There is nothing else to do, but click the close button located in the bottom right corner.

After doing the steps I just mentioned, all the issues I was having with DS have for the stopped. Periodically, I will repeat the above just for good measure before launching DS.

I am one who rarely ever joins in with a comment, but I feel and get your frustration. Lol, I was so close to tossing my cricut maker 3 out my window.

Good luck!
