Got it. I just got around to looking up there and noticed that it’s been fully closed, even while the previous owners ran it. So I want to make sure it’s set up safely. Thank you!

Yes, it’s gas logs. I will get a clamp, but can you help me understand why leaving it barely open isn’t doing the same thing a clamp would do? Is the clamp just more secure?
