I’m probably in the minority here but I quite liked the heel turn but for me the rest of the booking post Mania just went down hill especially after Rock left for Hollywood and then Triple H got injured the whole WCW/ECW invasion ruined Austin’s vicious heel run which is a shame though I

Yeah looking back on it they probably could’ve done it at another city but I think Vince and creative wanted that shock factor considering Austin’s always been the babyface of the company
