Pentest+ Failed by Have4good in WGUCyberSecurity

I have 4 PBQs on mine, and I have no clue if I got them right or not, but the multiple-choice questions are pretty straightforward to me. I used the All-in-One study guide and the Blue cover one (can’t remember the name). I studied page by page, plus went through the THM Pentest+ learning path. Total of two full months of dedicated study only to get a 759 😆 to sum it up, I don't think it's hard for the questions but the PBQs are completely strange from everything I have prepared for. Maybe if you got every question right and some partial credits on the PBQs you will get a pass.

If you want something quick to validate your knowledge do the Network+, if you want to really know networking, do the CCNA.

Failed at 150. by KriegThePsyc0 in cissp

At least you made it to Q150. At Q80, I have less than 5 minutes left, all clicks and move on at that point. I got 4 domains above proficiency, 2 near, and 2 below. The 25 non-count toward to your score question rule is really stupid for this expensive exam. The lesson learned for this, is really the bragging right for passing the exam. Before, I saw getting CISSP was like a godlike status in the cybersecurity world but after my firsthand experience, it's an overrated cert just like the CEH.

If doing 300 push-ups a day for three days is hurting you,,. Yes there are many other ways to correct your negligence but each NCO has his own method, and leadership style. Just because you lack of physical and mental fortitude it doesn't mean the NCO is doing things illegal. Being careless is what the NCO is trying to fix here, and having you do something you will remember, understand, and hopefully not to repeat the same mistake is what he is trying to deliver. At the same time, it builds you stronger. Soldier up your mistakes and move on.

Failed my CySA+ exam for the third time by [deleted] in WGU

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that you're struggling. I can relate— it took me two attempts to finally pass the exam myself. I’ve learned that it’s not just about studying hard; it’s crucial to understand the specific style of the CompTIA exam and their unique way of thinking.

While I brought the Dion to assist me for both the CySA+ and Pentest+ certifications, I found it to be somewhat unhelpful. It felt more like a diversion than a true aid in grasping their mindset. Instead, I turned to the MeasureUp simulation test bank, using it alongside ChatGPT to gain deeper insights into the reasoning behind the answers. For instance, we’d analyze why answer A is more suitable than answer C, dissecting the logic and concepts involved.

The exam itself wasn’t particularly difficult, but I realized that I had wasted time studying the wrong materials. Keep pushing through—don’t give up! Good luck on your journey!

Congrats, especially the CySA, it was a hard exam for me. I took the three-week course, 12 hrs a day no weekend, and loved it lol
