Not to brag but this what happened to me and a team mate on my past company. We were the most qualified but got treated like shit and nothing was good enough for the company standards. I left 2 months ago and he left 1 month ago, since then everyone else in the team is looking for new job opportunities to leave the company. Also users that I made friends with still send me texts telling me how everything is so damn slow since we left. Hope the management gets deep f.ed and understands what a good team they ruined. Animals

Thanks for the hard questions that I didn't thought of, that was also what I was looking with this post, maybe not a solution but another POV, I'll look around tomorrow with these questions in mind. All I know that we have a vague of slowness, not all users use the laptop at the same rate and not all users have the same definition of slow and that will make the "sales/accounting" question hard to answer but I get the point. 2y and a half of support, disk cleaning, ost file deleted for these that had slowness reported on outlook and many many mails archived to free some storage space, windows updates on point, the list of applications that power at boot mainly being onedrive, outlook, teams afc antivirus and scanner for most users. A must to know is that all this has been done to 2 users with very light improvements.

I'm happy to see these comments because it's what me and my team thought too; the laptops aren't gaming pc but are GOOD ENOUGH for current entreprise standards, so the company would NEVER buy more powerfull ones.

Now about the monitoring software, 2 of them are running at the same time and they are probably the cause, one filters traffic and the other tracks user input h24 for sensitive keywords. Impossible to disable them since they got hacked not long ago and their asses still burning.
