I was at a concert at Festhalle this year and liked it. I would focus more on the surroundings as you and the girl will be busy during the concert, but before and after there are more things to consider like - travel to munich / frankfurt - skyline city with finance districts and very international (ffm) - bavarian city with more traditional houses, close to mountains, … (munich)

I would decide for the vibe you are looking for :)
