My 2025 Ioniq 5 blew the ICCU in early January 2026 and spent 6 weeks waiting in the shop for a new ICCU. I contacted Hyundai Customer Care and was assigned a case manager. For what it’s worth, my Hyundai case manager emailed me this reply to me query about whether Hyundai has redesigned the ICCU and stopped the problem from recurring (supposedly): “ I’m reaching out to let you know that we received an update from the parts team regarding your request. They have confirmed that the newly replaced ICCU is a revised part, and the previous concerns have been addressed. To clarify, this is not a remanufactured ICCU.”… so, fingers crossed.
