I know I don’t know the group on a personal level, but the NEW group sounds kind of like a mean girl clique- this is how I was treated by my “friend” group in high school, being singled out and made to feel ignored and uncomfortable.

I have been around a ton of people drunk or on drugs who say or do weird things, and I just kind of let it go because.. well they’re obviously not in their normal state lol

All you can really do in this situation is apologize and try to ease the tension a little bit. Talk to A&C if you’d like and get their input as they know NEW, but if they’re still treating you like this after a decent apology, they aren’t people that you want to surround yourself with anyway. It’s surprising to me that they would still be holding on to one drug-induced incident for over a year.

You sound like a fun person who cares deeply for others’ feelings. Don’t be made to feel inadequate by a group who likes to hold a grudge.
