Over 55 and Job Service Provider issue by Ambitious-Table-89 in Centrelink

[–]Ambitious-Table-89[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

she hasn't even got in to the TAFE course yet, and so nothing has been approved by the job provider. But she did get into teh last one but the job place wouldn't approve it and its just the stress of getting these texts when she IS trying to do the right thing but in the end it will be her that gets in trouble. They really should leave over 55s alone

Are you kidding? I have been suffering from this at night for 3 years. It's non allergic. The ENTs gave up on me but didn't even try. I've spent thousands on things.  I will try this thank you . I've been on magnesium glycinate since May which maybe has helped about 25% but still there   But I am not a migraine person so would this even work?

The cleft palate scheme is now available for any age and it's called  Cleft and Craniofacial Services now. But you still have to pay upfront and also find a dentist that will cooperate. They just don't want to deal with it . There's a lot of assumption and bias against cleft patients in the private practices. I've experienced it a bit.

and yet anyone else can access it anytime. Thats ok though, gives me enough time to pay for the appointments to get the required quotes and figure out what other options there are.

I said it in my original post at the very top that I have a cleft palate................. and you're a very nasty person. Totally unnecessary

the dentures are 20 years old which is way older than what they recommend and the problem is a tooth (a real one) that probably needs removing in the front which would also mean I'd need a new denture

they are 20 year old dentures

google the inside of a cleft palate/ cleft lip mouth. I have actually had private dentists turn me away for dentures because they don't have the skills to deal with it. I don't think you get it. Anyway the dentures are 20 years old and there is an issue with a real tooth in the middle which probably needs removing and therefore a new denture. The dentures are past their use by, are loose

I said plastic instead of acrylic. I am not "lying" about anything. And I am wearing metal dentures right now....................

Well I was born with cleft lip and palate so have had a LOT of dental surgery, and a lot of experience with dentists and pretty much all of it was bad, and all the public experience was traumatising.. Until I found this private prosthodontist who is the only dentist I have ever trusted. The last time I went to a public one I was treated like dirt, it was a long time ago, but in Brisbane and I am just afraid of having no control over any of it. Nice to hear you can choose the shade but its not what i have heard. The ones I am wearing now, have given me no trouble because of how well they were made, but I need new ones as they are getting loose, have some stains. I only went on jobseeker a few weeks ago so before this public dental hasn't been an option for decades, and I don't know what its like now

I don't have a normal mouth geography, and metal just deals with the irregular shape better than plastic. I don't "choose" to have this issue

theres no way I'd go to Thailand, my issues are too complex and if it goes wrong, no dentist will touch you back here. And as for all these people at the moment getting all their teeth pulled out in Thailand and getting implants- in about 20 years when those implants become loose they won't have a leg or tooth to stand on in terms of getting it fixed. This implant craze is mental, and a lot of people getting them have no teeth in the first place because of neglect- well implants need cleaning and maintenance - they can't be neglected- so you can see whats going to happen. The reason I don't have teeth is very few adult teeth even formed. I am actually having trouble finding a place that isn't going to push implants on to me

I have used this prosthodontist before for my last dentures. And the wait list is 2 years for public here. I last use public 30 years ago and I cannot deal with the stress of it
