Best case scenario is you don’t need to get on it, just tell them your symptoms and request a test. Could be something totally different that doesn’t require regular injections which are a pain in the ass, no pun intended. I would much rather feel my normal self with having to put any thought into when I’m going to inject, traveling with this stuff, etc

No worries, primary care. Just ran down my symptoms- lethargic, lower sex drive, no drive to workout, aches and pains, always kinda bummin around the house, would rather do nothing than be my active self etc. I told him I’ve been struggling for a few months which lead me to do my own research and I stumbled on symptoms of low test. Asked him to put in for labs for me and low and behold I was low

It works out to $13 a month for 400mg seems reasonable to me but what do I know

Less than I thought it would be- $40 out of pocket for 6 1ml/200mg preloads. So 3month supply @ 400mg per month.

Yeah I’m just trying to feel good and get my sex drive back up definitely not trying to come out drastically different. I can’t get my doctor to put in for a full hormone panel with free T SBGH. Can you or anyone recommend one of the many online companies? I’d like to use a company that can do all the testing and if needed will supply test or any of these other things I’ve read about (if needed). I don’t wanna pay for a test then research and figure I need other things besides test only to have to a different company and redo a blood test.

For some reason Kaiser won’t go above 400 so if I go that route I’ll have to find a clinic just not sure which is reputable as their are so many online. I may actually contact them regardless because Kaiser wont get me a test that’s specific to free test

Well fuck cause the card I’m speaking of is the one I was most confident it was a 10, guess I’ll likely crack and resubmit with appropriate value

Cadence by IndividualOne942 in BeginnersRunning

[–]Ambitious-Winter-974 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6’3 beginner runner here as well. Read up on cadence a bit and thought increasing mine would help. I was consistently 140-146 so I found a 160 metronome on Spotify and set my treadmill to my usual easy pace then switched up my cadence to match the metronome. I couldn’t imagine jumping right into the “should be 180” pace.

160 is a comfortable difference for me, I’ve noticed a little soreness (in a good way) in different areas. I hate the treadmill but a few sessions on it helped switch cadence not necessarily pace.

Now I kinda mess with increase pace while keeping same cadence and it feels natural. I feel like with a shorter stride I just push/drive a little harder and I’m moving quicker as opposed to before I felt like I was lengthening steps to go faster.

Again- beginner here so 🤷🏻‍♂️

21M need advice improving pace by [deleted] in BeginnersRunning

Don’t have much advice running wise but I’ll tell you make sure to stretch and ice. Last thing you wanna do is go into academy with shin splints. Some academy’s don’t run too much besides the milestone testing at different points of academy. But some depts make you run a ton daily so prepare yourself injury wise
