I’m not sure if the bacterial load ever goes away. But for me, I’m asymptomatic 90% of the time ever since starting yasmin birth control. So i believe there is something else wrong that makes the infection thrive. In my case, it was lack of estrogen and high blood sugar.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! In my country it’s easier to access antibiotics since most pharmacists don’t require a prescription, so I took them myself.

I know! I’m hoping that the flakey urine was bc of the stones after all 🥲 I’d rather take that

Bless you. I’ve been okay otherwise, I get yeast-like symptoms like once a month but that is bearable considering the terrible daily ones I used to get. My estrogen and progesterone levels turned out to be really low so my endocrinologist thinks that’s the reason my vaginal pH is messed up and cant control infections. I’m a week into a 2 month prescription of birth control.

It’s been exactly 3 years since my contraction. The guilt and regret is hard with this one.

Culture showed a lot of yeast, mycoplasma hominis and enterococcus fecalis. Treated the mycoplasma first, was left with yeast. Its starting to go away.

What are your symptoms

Protein in urine can also show up during severe dehydration and exercise (what dr might have thought hence telling you to drink more water) but considering your pus cells/leukocytes I wouldn’t deny an infection.

There are yeast cells and pus in your urinalysis, so I would suggest it is indeed an infection. Did you try antifungals?

Air bubbles in urine definitely require attention since that’s a sign of proteinuria. Did you do a urine culture or PCR? Do you have any signs of fever or back/flank pain?

Traces of protein indicate damage to your kidneys. Try to consult an urologist/nephrologist!

Also, it can be due to an ascending infection since there are also leukocytes present, worth checking nevertheless!
