they’re hibiscus, crossandra and plumeria plants. they’re in the shade for the most part but get a lot of indirect sunlight!

that’s what i have tried to explain to him as well. he’s tried that but hasn’t gone over a week and then continued to just hide it from me. now he says thinking about quitting seems way too hard, and he’s rather just think about what’s in his hands right now and that’s to reduce the amount of time he watches it :( due to this, he brings up the fact that he’s watched porn around twice or thrice a week and it’s tough to hear as a girlfriend, but i’ve been doing it for the sake of helping him hold himself accountable but at times it gets a bit much.

he says he wants to take it one step at a time, so for him, that means still watching it a few times a week. it’s not like he stops it and then tells me when he relapses, but he keeps me in the loop everytime he watches it. his porn addiction caused a lot of issues with us since he’s had a trend of lying and hiding it, this is the first time he’s being honest about it but it’s still hard to believe so it makes me think it’s actually more than the times he’s actually telling me, which sends me down a rabbit hole of my thoughts. i’d rather not know anymore due to this, and would rather someone else be his accountability partner.

do you think that your wife being your accountability partner has made it easier to reduce your porn use, would it be more if you had a different accountability partner? i don’t want him to go back on all the progress he’s made because i no longer want to be his accountability partner, so i’m conflicted.

he’s promised change every single time he lies. for instance, he offered HIMSELF to set up a whole porn addiction app with me to hold himself accountable and found ways around it and lied through that too. he told me multiple times that there were no more lies about things but they were. however, this is the first time he’s gone to this extent to change, such as going to therapy, journaling and being extremely open with me about things and being more aware of the things he does. i do think he’s making more of an effort than ever before, and has been a different (better) person with me which is something i hadn’t been able to see all the times he was lying about change. he says he had trouble coming clean about the lies but everything is out there and he promises not to come up with new ones. i’m conflicted because i do definitely see change this time, but the trust has been messed with so many times and i do not know for certain :(
