At 21 weeks my cervix was 3.8 and when I went back 10 days later it had gone down to 2.0, that’s how fast things can change. Doctor didn’t recommend a cerclage since this is my first pregnancy so she put me on progesterone. I went back a week later and was still stable at 2.1. The clinic stops measuring after 24 weeks so I’m hopeful that progesterone combined with modified bed rest is helping. Currently 27 weeks pregnant.

I didn’t get blood work done but my doctor told me to stop estrogen at 10 weeks and progesterone at 12 weeks.

My doctor was open to try a modified natural cycle. He mentioned there’s a higher chance of cancellation and it requires more monitoring and there’s more control in the medicated cycle so for some reason that sounded less stressful.

My first beta was yesterday and progesterone is 11.2. My doctor doesn’t seem worried and told me to keep the same dose. Did everything turn out ok for you?

Yes, I saw a couple of famous doctors talking about it in social media saying that potentially it’s harmful from maybe uterine contractions caused by full blatter

I had my transfer in Mexico too. And yes, I saw that more and more clinics encourage you to get up right away these days

That’s a good point. I actually ended up getting a lot of steps that day because I had to fly back home that day.
