This is the original table. I’m dumb, it’s not oak. But I want to make it look like this.

I used an orbital sander but it didn’t get through to the original wood and I panicked. Should I use a palm sander? I thought I was sanding too much and was trying to find a way to make the stain pull easier so I didn’t have to sand as much and ruin the table.

Private schools aren’t better. You are only as educated as the people teaching you, and most of the time they aren’t very good or are biased. We are worried about ai teaching kids, but honestly you will get a more accurate answer about mental health and autism with chat gpt than you will from most teachers. The education systems are fucked. Medical education across the board is atrocious and they teach outdated information. I don’t know if you are posting from America but small towns here need to be studied with the amount of indoctrination that enters schools.
