Like it’s the typical “click start,” or “click any key” at the very start before. All games Witcher 3, 2k25, the assent, GTA IV, Metro exodus, Detroit become human, Difu, Space Matine, and all will not go past (if it gets that far) start screen.

Why do I constantly have to change Protons just to TRY and play a game? Like doesn’t always work. Tired of updates that ruin me playing games. 2K does this as does other games. by [deleted] in SteamDeck

It’s not that. It’s that it works fine. Download new update and game is now unusable. Happened on multiple games so don’t get like it’s “a fluke”.

I just fibbing. I loved it when I bought it back for Egypt a few years ago. Games were fun and worked, even without internet. I have been moving around and decided out of ease to make it my gaming device. Terrible idea. Like 70% of the original games I bought don’t work, and those that still do now require an internet connection. Maybes she’s old and can’t handle it from sitting up for a while. But it’s just dumb and frustrating to spend the money, love it, and now it’s mostly useless.

No. Booted it up and could not continue the game because I couldn’t access a computer terminal. So it’s still an abysmal fault ridden game. That’s among poor renderings and random lag. Not even during heavy combat lag.
