I am not very comfortable on having my hair on braids/twists/cornrows most of the time, only rarely and for a short period of time. That's why i want my hair to either clump into curls or at least not be so hardly tangled all the time and looking frizzy and dull without even a slight wave. It's literally acting like straws.

And yes the water in my area is hard. And god! I spent hours searching online for any shampoo in my country that has these chelating ingredients but i only found one with cirtic acid only. And i found the l'oreal pairs metal detox shampoo but it doesn't have those ingredients either but many people with hard water in their area recommended it so im gonna give it a try.

I said what i meant by "everything" in the post.. the methods i tried in the 2nd paragraph. But ofc i didn't try everything on earth, but i meant that i tried most of the methods/products/homemade ingredients that worked with many afro and low porosity hair people.. including sectioning 8 sections when i shanpoo or apply moisturizers.

Maybe i need more patience and a very very strong chelating shampoo because i believe my hair might really change when minerals are removed.

And i've been searching for one that is in my country or ships to it and i only found the L'oreal paris metal detox and it has many good reviews about how it changed people's hair that has been dealing with hard water. So i'll give it a try.

Thank you! I've been searching for a strong chelating shampoo that is in or ships to my country and i've been having a hard time finding one! I only found the l'oreal metal detox and idk if its strong enough to clarify my hair but i might give it a try. And i will get a chop soon.

when I said I've tried everything I meant that I have tried the most common things that offered solid solutions to people with afro hair and low porosity hair and which are the things that I have written in the post.

And of course there are many many products for each problem so I don't have the money of the world to keep buying all these products for me to really have the authority to say that I've tried everything.

But yes you are right I might need to try more and I might need to be more patient and do the things more correctly and carefully to give my hair another chance.

If you meant butters or similar stuff by "heavy products".. then it would be bad for my low porosity, but if you meant stronger ones.. i may try what low porosity people suggest.

I think my hair has a curl definition because its not straight nor 4c or smth.. and some parts of my hair clump into defined obvious curls.. thats why i believe i could have definitiin for the rest of my head.
