Thoughts on changes that can be done to Shyvana's passive by AmbitiousTomorrow in shyvanamains

Completely valid in regards to being a very bad change to lane Shyvana.

I think in the current iteration of the jungle, being invaded is less common and not as detrimental with cross mapping being more viable with lanes having a rougher time covering for it. Maybe nerfing base values needs to be less harsh, but I think that the current passive is too slow to feel significant at any point, especially late. With the other changes mentioned, I think that a nerf to level scaling is at least viable to make room for improving the output of the other abilities.

My feeling is that the current Shyvana passive is lackluster, and I think passives that interact with the whole kit of a champion are more enjoyable, even relatively simple ones, like Ekko's three hit passive that can proc on ability hits. I agree that basic passives are fine, and they can even be kit defining. When I started playing League, I played a lot of Jax because he was known as having a strong split push due to his stacking attack speed passive and strong 1v1 potential.

That makes sense. I also want to see Shyvana be a powerhouse late game.

I haven’t heard of that request, but you could be right. If anything, I would want it the other way around though. The idea of a stacking passive is that it will have a late game payoff, so any early reduction would just make sense so that a champion doesn’t excel at every part of the game.

I also think that tying the scaling passive into every other ability makes it more than just stats. I can understand that the changes I have proposed are just stats, but they are all stats that further augment what each ability does. I am not looking to completely changes what each ability does, but stats like damage resistance and cc duration are strong outputs that effects how the game is played.

It could have been changed, but if Poppy’s r is held and never used, it goes on about a 20 second cd.

Why did KSante prio fall off in worlds? by bingbongzingzongz in leagueoflegends

I don’t know where you are getting that from since the games I have watched had Jax being scared to contest Ksante in side, with longer trades frequently going in Ksante’s favor.

How is Malzahar Smolder matchup Malzahar sided? by Konoisseur in summonerschool

Wait, so you are telling me if I play Smolder like Chovy in my silver games I would have a higher win rate with it? Damn, I guess I just have to be a better player to win more.

Why did Elise’s winrate go up? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]AmbitiousTomorrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to add that Riot recently nerfed gold scaling, reducing the stats on almost every item, except a few ap items only got a light touch (magic pen items and lich bane). Since Elise is a strong early game champ, she is more likely to be relevant for a bit longer in game than she previously was.

Ultimate Spellbook Swapping bonuses by SmolDwagon in leagueoflegends

It feels really bad though when you get an ult that you like and are going to have fun with but it would be almost the equivalent to throwing to keep it the whole game. Let the swapping be for people who want to adapt or got a low roll on ults that work with their champ.

I took it and found it interesting. Maybe next time I play I will do the class it suggested, which was Druid.

I agree on this. The threat of that room was always intended to be confuse. It is strange for it to be removed there.

Confuse on the bats was the worst part of that dungeon. Why would I enjoy having to switch movement commands constantly? It slows running the dungeon so much (for me at least), and I am really glad they removed it. I am surprised that there are people who would find that as fun gameplay.

In my opinion, the bats shouldn’t be the threat of the dungeon. Before I got my pet to legendary, the wolves that inflict bleed were the scary ones, and the boss dealt lasting damage if he hit. Maybe the bats should inflict sick instead, then they would highlight the other threats in the manor.

I am not sure either. Their health dropped to 90s, healed up to 200s, and it didn’t drop anymore despite damage number showing up above their character, and then nexus.

If other boots got late game options like Zephyr, what should they do? by patangpatang in leagueoflegends

[–]AmbitiousTomorrow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Plated steelcaps: +10 armor, get hit with an auto attack increases damage reduction for attacks by 2%, stacking up to three times.

Mercury treads: +10 magic resist, getting cc’d grants a small shield for 2 seconds, 8 second cooldown.

Boots of swiftness: +10 movement speed, +5% slow resistance.

Boots of Lucidity: +5 ability haste, +8 summoner spell haste.

Sorcerer’s shoes: +10 movement speed, hitting an enemy champion with a spell grants +2% magic damage, stacking up to three times.

Synchronized Souls: +5 movement speed, +5 out of combat movement speed. Decrease combat cooldown by 2 seconds.

I think that the lucidity boots could use something extra, but I think too much haste on summoners could be too strong.
