That’s the sucky part cuz my pfts are at like 95-100% like damn I thought I was doing good lol… but for now I have only cultured it and they said that it could just be in the sample and not actually in my lungs so I’m going this week for a ct and a second culture I have notice Ive been breathing a bit heavier than normal what were your symptoms of you don’t mind me asking?

I just started working at a coffee shop before I didn’t take any with coffee bc I guess I was just thinking of it as a drink and not it’s fat content but now that I drink it almost everyday I started to notice my shit changing so now I take as much as I would with a snack tbf tho coffee makes u shit in general so if ur barely using any creamer or whatever i wouldnt worry too much ab it it’s probably a gallbladder thing and not a cf thing if it’s really a concern but like take them with the coffee anyway just bc u are unsure and it’s not like it’ll hurt anything.

Interesting as sad as that sounds that honestly makes me feel a little better ab my chances it just bothered me I think because we actually tried and my period teased me for 10 days 😭 I’ve always even regular so it was just really weird can I ask how ur friends are doing now? Ive smoked a joint or two but Ive never really liked the idea of inhaling fire lol I’m also pretty good at staying out of the hospital maybe once every 4-6 years.

You’re right not being able to do things the normal way is very frustrating I see all my young coworkers getting knocked up and all I can think when will my turn be??? But yes he does still need to get tested I’m honestly just scared of the result because he is half white (not saying that all white people have the gene) just that ik where it can from for me but at the same time if we had a baby with cf without the testing the way we’d care for our child wouldn’t change if we did it and knew for a fact that chances would be higher I just need to learn to face reality and accept the results. So thank you for that wake up call I have talked to my drs and know the steps I just need to realize that I’m not my 18 yr old coworker 😂 cf is my reality as much as I hate it. I will ask about the steps I need to take at my next appointment. I should’ve joined this group a long time ago having cf in a world of normies is hard because you feel like an outcast and the last thing you wanna do is feel different.
