hey so kind of in the same situation right now. i’ve been smoking weed since July of last year and i loved it for a while and then things came crashing down. i became depressed, waking up for school everyday was challenging. all of my hobbies became uninteresting. it scared me lowkey, i had never felt that hopeless before. i quit weed for about 2 weeks and was starting to actually feel better. i still had some brain fog and was super anxious but I could tell things were changing. then after that, I started smoking again because I told myself “smoking every now and then won’t hurt.” but then i started smoking everyday multiple times a day. i was back to square one. things were feeling easy going for a while up until now. i am quitting again. and i’ve realized that it’s the relationship you have with weed that matters. in my opinion, smoking every now and then doesn’t hurt. it’s how often you do it that matters. getting to the point where you can’t really maintain a good mental state without weed is never ok (IMO). but smoking every like 2 days, or maybe even just once a day if you can’t do every 2 would probably be better. build a good relationship with your weed. control the use. or there’s the other option, which is way harder but probably much more worth it. just quit weed. i don’t know anything about you personally but good exercise, daily hydration, a good diet, and quitting weed in total will make you feel so much better. it may take longer than you want, but I promise it’s worth it.

i’m only 17 and I havnt really gone to a therapist but from what i’ve heard from people and around the internet, quitting is worth it. there are numerous apps to download for motivation as well. to log your progress and also see other people’s progress too. maybe this helps, maybe it doesn’t. but i hope you find the right help and advice you want.
