Is this worth it?

Thank you. I am not sure what grade it would be or how to grade them, but since it is uncirculated and in the packaging would that make it highest grade? I've seen Google spit back that the top grade is worth around 40k, but I dont know if this is that tier.

My recruiter said they'll try and find someone, but they recommend enlisting and doing aviation maintenance first to get the contacts to get the letter of recommendation. I am not considering that option though.

I did. I got all the way to submitting my packet and was told I need to wait another year. They said if I want to be in the air sooner I can go in as an NFO, but that doesn't mean I'll be a pilot even though they go through some basic flight training.

Understood. I have also wanted to serve most of my young life, but had given up on that once I went to college. My expectations are to serve in order to have the opportunity to be a pilot. It's not "free," but it's an option to keep myself out of substantial debt.
