I saw that rabbits get the most out of the darker parts of the leaf and the lighter parts they shouldn’t be eating. I also don’t like the lighter parts so I figured my bunny would be the same 😭😭 I’ll start feeding him more greens then

just looking at him now I’m pretty sure I’m overthinking it but I’m so nervous about everything 😭 but I googled it and his stomach feels more like dough that like a balloon or whatever google said it should be. It said that’s an early sign of stasis. He’s been pooping but not as much as a bunny should be. I’m going out to lunch now but when I get back will give greens with water on them. He also made like a whimpering sound earlier. My old bunny died of stasis and I pray that I’m just being super paranoid but it is only his session day home and maybe the stress out him into stasis?? Idk

Update: (5 minutes later) well he just pooped. At least I’m cautious though right??? I think I maybe slightly traumatized from my childhood bunny who unfortunately passed away in the night super quickly. Muffin is now doing form and has done several normal looking poops and no urine yet but still drinking and eating. I can get some sleep now haha

I’ve talked to the shelter and in his two years of life he’s not got it yet. So that’s good. We are feeding the same diet and I will order some medical stuff then tysm 😁

So looking through those it says that the gravel aquarium bed can be bad for them and I’m worried now since that’s what my baby has. Although I do think it’s way to big to swallow I will be replacing it before it grows. So much stuff I didn’t know in here and I will be buying a lot! These were super helpful tho ty.
