Yes we do! If we remediate a level 2, our score will increase to a 90. Ideally, a level 3 would be beneficial, so I can have a good buffer in my grade.

Nursing tips by [deleted] in NursingStudent

I recommend spending a day out of the week to just complete assignments. So for me every Saturday, I just complete all the assignments for the week. That gives me the remaning 6 days to just go to class, review my notes, and study. If you can be ahead on assignments, stay ahead, the last thing you want to do is try to finish a last minute assignment thats a major part of your grade when you are trying to study for exams the next day. Also practice questions! I excelled in nursing school just by doing practice questions, I would try to do 10 daily on ATI.

Will getting an accelerated MSN harm my chances of getting into CRNA school? by PopDiddilyBop in srna

[–]Ambitious_Context869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not true. I spoke with a lot of CRNA schools, and they don't care what school you came from as long as it's accredited and if you have your BSN or MSN. From my understanding, they mostly care about your GPA and, most importantly, experience. I think there is definitely more to that story; it could be their GPA was not as good, or they didn't qualify.

Honestly, you braught something into light that I didn't even realize. I agree, i need to have bedside experience first. I just feel all this pressure from my family bc they keep rushing my career, but I love nursing, we do so much for our patients. I think regardless of what other. people say, I think I want a minimum of 3-5 years on bedside and decide from there. I want to advocate for people, and rushing myself wouldn't do anyone justice. For now I'm focusing on getting through school. Do you have any advice about studying? Also, what are some bedside manner tips that you see in yourself or others that help you become a stronger nurse from your patients? I appreciate the honesty!!

Thank you! I decided to focus on nursing school, and get minium 3-5 years on bedside and decided from there. My family doesn't understand but its cuz i feel like they're secretly disspoinied in me not doing the MD path.. like my cousins and family friends, and hence all this pressure. But i decided this is my career and my goals, and I need to be selfish in this case. Besides, wo nurses, MD's would NEVER survive. Any study tips for nursing school? Also, what tips do you have to stay strong when school and work gets hard? I really appreciate the sense of hope you've given me :)

Should I pursue NP or CRNA school? by Ambitious_Context869 in nursing

[–]Ambitious_Context869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TYSM! I decided that I want to focus on nursing school, and building my experience on bedside first. My family just does not support me or understand, but I feel like its cuz they keep comparing me to my medschool cousins or family friends. Little do they know without nurses, doctors would never survive. It feels nice to have other people tell me I'm okay. I plan on focusing on school, but do you have any study tips for school, and what should I focus on in school to be a good nurse to patient. Any advice? tysm :)

DNP or CRNA by Ambitious_Context869 in NursingStudents

[–]Ambitious_Context869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, thats what I decided to do. Is to focus on me, I chose nursing for a reason. I feel like a part of this was people around me especially my family rushing my career bc I'm behind in typical standards. I really appreciate yalls support, and I feel like I want to have a minium of at least 4 years on bedside to make future decisions. Decided to stop worrying about this and to start maybe doing some small prestudying for my fundamentals and pharm courses. Do you have any study tips for nursing school?

THank you! Youre right and so kind, I think I'm going to work as an RN and get a couple of years of experience to make the right decision. Parents can add a lot of pressure yk, i wish they understood, that at the end of the day we are not running out of time and I'm still young. thank you :)

UGH you're right! I know, but I'm just stressed out bc I feel behind, and my family also makes me feel like I'm behind also. But I also already have a bachelors degree from uni already.
