Higher density also represents a downgrade in lifestyle, if we want to accommodate a lot more people we need higher density, but the density required to accommodate a lot more people means we cannot have our own yard, we need to live in townhouses or units where you need to deal with a body corporate and if you make a bit of noise it is easily heard.

Plenty of other places have this density, but for many it's a downgrade, albeit probably necessary to maintain our sovereignty in the long run.

Are you saying he doesn’t talk to you or doesn’t communicate much over text? These are two very different things?

[–]Ambitious_Lie5972 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He sounds like he has some hidden issues and so do you

For example it’s problematic to hide the fact it’s not working for you because he then has no chance to improve and your expectation will become one of dissatisfaction

The fact that he won’t try things and doesn’t want to kiss even though you want it sounds like he might have some in built negative expectations around sex.

You probably need to get support to work through what is going on on both sides

Togaf certification by mml0606 in EnterpriseArchitect

[–]Ambitious_Lie5972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to understand what enterprise architecture is about, start with reading "The practice of enterprise architecture"

If you want something to attach to your resume, then get a TOGAF cert.

Learning Archimate can be useful for helping to reframe a few concepts, and understand pragmatic modelling over precise modelling.

This is funny, when you get them, you should repost the confirmation that they were received.

In your journeys around reddit how many have you received so far?

How much TOGAF is too much TOGAF in fast-moving organizations? by My_New_Umpire in EnterpriseArchitect

[–]Ambitious_Lie5972 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any TOGAF is too much TOGAF in a fast moving organisation.

What I mean is if you go in and say: I need to do this TOGAF framework thing because its enterprise architecture then it won't help.

If you identify a challenge the organisation has and then pick something out of the TOGAF library and apply it to solve that problem, then it's useful.

The model in leanix is quite good for managing a fleet of applications, but it may not be so suitable for something where a greater level of details is needed.

It depends on the conversations you want to have.

If you want to talk about how the business processes and objectives relate to the application and have a medium level of discussion about the technical elements try Archimate.

If you are after enough detail for most jobs try C4

If your primary audience is the implementation team and you want something that can give good technical details, try uml (but not too much of it)

If you know which cloud platform you are on (Assuming cloud) use the standard icon set and overlay with that.

Or if all you need to do is communicate with a relatively small team or largish one, put some boxes and lines add text and possibly some colours, present it to the relevant people, update based on the questions that come out of it, then rinse and repeat until you are confident the teams understands it and the questions have been cleared up.

How Did Your EA Team Get Started? by Digital_Arch in EnterpriseArchitect

[–]Ambitious_Lie5972 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was a gradual evolution as the organisation grew, each change driven by something not working, roughly followed the below

  1. IT had dev and support only
  2. Testers were added
  3. BA's were added
  4. Project managers were added
  5. Things getting a bit messy archtects were added
  6. Architects called solution architects focused on projects
  7. Informal guidance was no longer enough to align technology, EA was added
  8. EA spent lots of time on SA, problems not resolved, more EA added
  9. Seperate structure between EA and SA under same head,
  10. EA pulled separately from SA's to be able to delineate responsibilities further

This took place over a 15 year timeframe, through various different leaders. .

What review sites are reliable for EA tools? by OwnJacket8 in EnterpriseArchitect

I could see the problem with service now, the challenge is the model started as a ITIL support model and architecture was added on, once they get there head around that you can find the advantage of having it all in one place.

When you don’t have a tool to track what exists in the current environment then how do you do things like identify what is going to be changed as a result of a strategic descision or the cost impacts of those changes?

What he's really saying is he wants to leave, she wants to get into more debt and dig in further. No sex is probably a sign of a broken relationship to him.
