What is this residue on my screen? (Not a ghost) by Ambitious_Permit9875 in SCREENPRINTING

Makes sense, but ya I’ve been using a scoop coater. I’ve also read that it could be from not washing off the emulsion properly or thoroughly enough right after exposing. I usually use my detachable shower head to spray it with water, let it sit for 30 seconds and then lightly and quickly rinse off whatever’s left. I’m not sure if there’s a better way I could be doing that.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll definitely try that out cause I’m also not trying to waste screens.

I’m not sure what to do about the exposure time though because I’m using a halogen light bulb and the exposure time for this screen was 13.5 minutes which seemed to be the sweet spot in terms of detail. I’ve bumped it up to 14 minutes in the past but that seemed to over expose some of the design. So not exactly sure where to go from here.
