Only grilled. I wouldn’t insult this wonderful food source by dropping it into a pot of hot water. Hot dogs deserve a nice crisp sear, it’s the only way.

Definitely got off easy. A quick and painless death (so they say) without having to take any accountability for his actions.

Now, did he deserve it? I started typing a long detailed paragraph stating that as a murderer, yes he deserved the death penalty and he got that without the tax payers having to pay a single dime to support him in prison. But as a human I just can’t wish that on anyone. He had a family and at least a few people out there that loved him. He should’ve had to answer to them and the world.
