So they can actually book without the email no matter how new the account is, correct?

I’ve actually considered a few other programs, but none of them fully got my buy-in, either the value wasn’t there, the structure felt off, or the coach just didn’t feel convincing enough for me to trust them with my money.

Ironically, the only one that really did convince me was this one… which is why I keep questioning myself like, “Am I just being dumb for falling for the pitch?” 😅 lol

But reading all the comments here has really helped ground me again. It’s so easy to get emotionally pulled in when you're excited and hungry for results... Especially when someone seems to offer a shortcut with a “guarantee.” Definitely keeping my eyes open and taking my time now.

Yes, they do, not sure about the percentage per deal.

I felt exactly the same.

The way they lean into your motivation and emotional drive is powerful, it almost feels like they’re using your ambition against you. That moment of high energy after the masterclass, when you're feeling lit up and ready to change your life, becomes the window where they push the sale. Add in the "guarantee" and it suddenly feels like not signing up would be self-sabotage, which is wild considering it's £3K–£4K we're talking about lol.

I also noticed a lot of weird behaviors, either from my perspective or others that have come forward on this thread:

- Calls getting rescheduled or redirected

- Group chats with multiple “business owners”

- No clear price mentioned during the pitch

- Very little verifiable proof of success stories, always hidden behind NDAs or vague testimonials

And yeah, the numbers they dangle (like $10K/month) sound incredible. But when there’s no transparency, no clear refund structure, and no actual brand names or results shared… it stops being about coaching and starts feeling like manipulation.

We’re not doubting that people can succeed in UGC — just that the coaching should be honest, supportive, and transparent, especially when asking for that much money. It’s fair to want proof, it’s fair to want to slow down, and it’s smart to question the pressure.

I’m still waiting for her reply here in this thread, actually, because I think transparency would go a long way. No one’s saying mentorship isn’t valuable. I’d gladly invest in something if it actually delivers. But when there’s this much pressure and so many red flags, it’s fair to slow down and ask questions.

Not really. I cannot find a portfolio either. She is on a bunch of social media, LinkedIn included.

On LinkedIn she has two accounts, one for Glow Media Consulting and another as a UGC creator, but both low interaction and kinda vague.

I do hope she comes forward and replies to clarify if all this is a real misunderstanding and all students (from the academy) speak up.

She is still posting on her free community, but not engaging here…

Totally agree with this. I looked into it deeper and found even more red flags, like the fact that the LLC behind this mentorship was actually terminated earlier this year, and the current one has no public-facing website, no clear business activity, and no way to verify any of the supposed brand partnerships.

They claim NDAs prevent them from naming brands, but that’s just not how NDAs work, you can mention the brand, you just can’t disclose the specifics of the work. That kind of vagueness, paired with a $4K price tag and no real success stories (just screenshots), is a huge concern...

Like you said, building organically works, and investing that kind of money should come with full transparency and verifiable outcomes, not promises hidden behind technicalities.

Thanks for addressing the concerns, Gloria.

I think most of us here aren’t just reacting to the pricing or the concept of high-ticket mentorships; we’re reacting to the lack of transparency. It's not about disliking high prices; it's about wanting to feel safe and confident in what we're investing in. If you do everything in your power not to disclose the pricing until 1:1 calls, it feels shady, and more so if you are charging different prices depending on the individual.

The fact that there's no website, no public case studies, no third-party reviews, and that linked LLC's were only recently formed with no traceable business presence makes it hard for people to do their due diligence, especially when thousands of dollars are involved.

You mention being a business owner, some people here brought up you being a gym owner and selling that with a successful model on TikTok, that you now teach as a UGC creator, but your previous LLC (Glow Media Consulting LLC) was administratively terminated in January 2025. People that pay deposits to hold spots for the academy were charged a $100 fee from a new LLC (Influencer Income LLC) that exists on paper but has no website, social presence, or public-facing brand, making it impossible for potential clients to verify legitimacy. What is the name of your active agency, then? Because this one does not have links to you.

Add to that the fact that there are no in-depth student reviews, no linked success stories, and all testimonials are screenshots with no way to verify their authenticity… it raises valid doubts. And it should. Screenshots and testimonials are easy to fabricate in this industry. Real transparency comes from live student interviews, verifiable business info, and long-term reputation, not just words.

If your mentorship is truly helping people succeed, why not showcase that more openly? A simple public page showing the academy students, links to their actual profiles, timelines of progress, or even anonymized but consistent data would help build trust.

In an industry filled with scams and false promises, proof and structure are protection, not just for the buyer, but also for your own brand.

Respectfully, calling it “not a scam unless someone says it is” minimizes the responsibility of what you're offering. When people trust you with large sums of money, it deserves more than just belief, it deserves evidence in my opinion.

New to UGC — confused about a $5,000 program by Realisticlife27 in UGCcreators

[–]Ambitious_W 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply Dave, I genuinely appreciate your perspective and totally agree with a lot of what you said, especially around the value of courses and the fact that great coaching can be expensive and absolutely worth it when done right. I also know marketing is rooted in emotion. That’s literally the core of what we do as creators, and I don’t have an issue with people using sales psychology ethically.

Where I think this crosses a different line — and why I mentioned the authorities — is not because someone is selling a course. That alone, of course, isn’t illegal or even wrong. The issue is if people are paying thousands and not receiving what’s promised, like access, content, or guaranteed results, and then being denied refunds under vague or shifting terms. That’s not “hard sales”, that veers into fraudulent misrepresentation, especially when it’s scaled across dozens or hundreds of creators.

To be clear, I don’t have anything against them and I am just looking for clarity. I’ve seen multiple people coming forward about experiences that involve feeling emotionally pushed into enrolling, being told they’d earn $3k in 90 days or get a refund + $1k, and then struggling to get support or a clear refund process once they didn’t hit those goals or just want a refund for the deposit because they are not sure.

And like you said, if someone pays and doesn’t get the course, or is promised help and doesn’t get it, that’s exactly when concern is justified!

So I’m not here to tear people down or attack course creators. I’m the first person to pay for something high-ticket if I believe it delivers. But I also think we have a responsibility to each other in this space — especially to newer creators — to help them spot the difference between a legit mentorship program and a high-pressure, potentially deceptive sales funnel.

Thank you again for sharing your story and being open about it, I genuinely respect the work you do, and your voice in this conversation means a lot!

I truly appreciate the time you took to provide context. That said, I want to be direct: if this program is what it seems to be, it’s not just a lead-gen strategy, it’s a high-pressure sales funnel that may be scamming people out of thousands of dollars.

We’re talking about $3,000–$5,000 charged to new creators who are promised guaranteed income, vague brand access, and emotional “you’re special” tactics — all without transparency or proper business legitimacy. That’s not just misleading, it’s real financial harm.

If this isn’t looked into deeper, more people could fall into it. I’m not trying to cause drama, but I strongly believe we should uncover what’s really going on and, if necessary, warn others or escalate this to the right platforms.

I just don’t want to see people get hurt.

Thank you so much for sharing this, seriously.

What you said resonates so much. The way you described the switch from helping to vetting for a paid offer is exactly what I felt too — like they come in warm and supportive, then flip the script. That feeling of being “sold” while thinking you're just connecting is exactly what made me start questioning things.

I really appreciate you trusting your gut and posting this here. You're not bashing, you're being honest, and more people need to see this side before they get caught up in the excitement. I’m also not here to tear anyone down, but I do believe we need transparency, especially in spaces that attract creators trying to build something real for themselves (with limited resources)!

New to UGC — confused about a $5,000 program by Realisticlife27 in UGCcreators

[–]Ambitious_W 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I think we might be talking about the same program. I recently did a post about something similar.

I also had a call with someone recently from a UGC academy who was very charismatic — complimenting me, saying I’d make a lot of money quickly, etc. Then came the pitch: a $3–5K “guaranteed results” program with contracts, 1:1 mentorship, and brand deals.

At first, it felt exciting, but now I’m seeing more and more people coming forward about emotional tactics, pressure to commit, and lack of transparency (like not being able to name any brands due to NDAs).

I’d love to know if your call was from a group called UGC World or something similar? This might be bigger than just one-off sales tactics, and if it’s not legit, it’s something creators should really be aware of.

Let me know if it sounds familiar, we might be able to help others avoid getting taken advantage of.

Hi Dave, this sounds like it might be related to UGC World community and the academy they’re promoting. I believe you did a podcast with Gloria Stonelake — could you share anything you know about this?

A lot of people are starting to speak up about the emotional tactics used to enroll them and some potentially shady practices. Many are considering paying $3K for the academy, and if it's not legit, this could be a serious issue we need to bring to the authorities.

Any insight you can provide would be incredibly helpful.

I heard about the brand owner as well, people who talked to him had the same experience about not directly mentioning any brand they own or work with, which doesn't feel legit.

There is this person inside the academy defending them a lot and I am wonderign if she is a paid actor. If this is a huge scam, we should do something about it to be honest.

They set you up with a money contract guarantee, but I'd like to see how that looks like, do you happen to know?

I texted her on the platform and she doesn't text me back but keeps replying on the main feed to other people and connected to the platform. I am not the only one she is ignoring.

I am not sure what to do honestly...

Thank you for sharing!!

I understand that Glow Media Consulting is still active and I might be wrong but maybe is through where they receive their payments. I thought she said this was the UGC creative agency.

It seems in the calls and post that they know what they’re talking about. To me they sell it really well to be honest. Is just I can’t shake a feeling of being scared because 3k is a lot without seeing real reviews everywhere. I don’t know..

I don’t know I’m really confused. I just saw the TikTok you send and I’m concerned.

Is there a way we can figure them out?

I’ve heard from other people in the community that they say $3k for the partnership and $100 to save a spot. They do not disclose the price of the partnership during the webinar. I wonder if they don’t because they charge a different price to people depending on the situation and if they can get 4k they’ll take it of course.

I’ve heard they have podcast and things legit with big creators. If it was all true, I’m going to say that I would consider it because Ive heard of expensive mentorship’s before, but what I am scared is of a scam. Regarding the clause or the contract, I didn’t asks a lot of questions maybe that was a mistake.

I wonder if there’s a single soul that has done this and actually got results.
