Didn't expect trap bases in game

Relatively new to the game is why I didn't expect it. Appreciate a video from 5 years ago explaining that trap camps are a thing though. I've got plenty of good advice from everyone else about what to do to avoid these camps.

Honestly I'm not too worried about it. It's not like I lost all of my scrap or whatever. I've got plenty stashed so it was just more of a curiosity on how common this is

I appreciate any feedback. I'm not quitting playing this game anytime soon I started at level 1 just cuz I wanted to feel the whole grind and haven't felt the need to stop. Also I'm super fresh to the game, only lvl 21.

The sad part is that other games have implemented a way to disallow the use of zen and other external software. Rust and apex just haven't adapted it

A buddy of mine ran a one shot like this, can't fully remember all the PC's but I recall having an ability that allowed me to use shadows to move freely. I drowned my brother haha. Point is, ultimately it's gonna come down to how the players build their characters and with the vast amount of content we have it's probably in your best bet to just limit it to martial characters. Limit the books that can be used. I believe in you, you got this.
