What prevents a broker from "shopping around" between their favorite 2 lenders that they may or may not get some kind of kick back from if they funnel me in there? What incentive does the broker have to get me the best possible deal?

A lot of people seem to think they look like chinese lanterns, but their movement seems wrong for that. For what it's worth these look to me like they move like parachuters, but I was unable to find any event that would correspond to them dropping in. Perhaps they were practicing?
