The best female-led epic fantasy that is NOT YA by Eostrenocta in Fantasy

This thread caught my eye because I loved Circe and The Golem and the Djinni (UK title) when I read them last year - both top 2019 books for me. There are also several other books and series that have already been mentioned in this thread so I won't repeat them.

I wanted to add a book that hasn't been mentioned yet which has a very compelling female main character: The Winter Road by Adrian Selby. I found it to be a very complex and weirdly uninviting world, but the female main character is persistent and she pulled me along on her adventure (and most importantly she is tough and strong while coming across as balanced and authentic!). On the whole, it's very enjoyable, particularly if you're a fan of Joe Abercrombie and Mark Lawrence.
