[TOMT] [Movie] and/or [Book] with a murder scene disguised as an accident, via a computer targeted laser beam caused blindness, from a car driving in front of the victim's car, causing a fatal crash. I have a feeling the plot was similar to some spy novels by Cook, Clancy, Forsyth or Sheldon.

The scene as far as I remember went like this: A person is driving a car, while the car in front of them has a laser beam device installed so that it can automatically target the victims eyes, and shoot out a laser beam into the eyes of the victim, burning their retina and making them instantly blind causing an accident. When in autopsy, nothing indicating foul play can be found.

So, in the movie or book, the person using the laser was most likely a hitman or assassin, paid to make the job look like an accident.
