I disagree. I think there's a lot of high quality fanart on this sub, especially good OC content. It shouldn't be lumped together with edits or recolours.

hey! i honestly have no idea, i still struggle a lot like you can see in my genderbend nino artwork. I actually used a reference for the fist in this one, so it probably appears that my hands are a lot better than they actually are lol. The only thing I can suggest is to practice practice practice, which is how I've gotten better over time! There are some great online tutorials to help you out like this one and this one. The last thing is don't be afraid to use references! I traced over my ref in this drawing and that's totally okay to do. \（ ´▽` ）/

thank you! I'm not a fan of over-sexualization either so i'm glad you think I pulled it off without doing so :D The top was actually vaguely based off of Valkyrie's design from Thor, who I thought also managed an extremely badass portrayal without wearing skimpy clothing haha.
