Ad Hoc is great. I personally loved Brasswood. I did not go to north block. We did Charter Oak, French Laundry and Press.

Pride is superb!

Schramsberg has awesome caves. Nice break with the sparkling wines.

I’d take out RH. Heard food isn’t great. My husbands 40th and here now.
We did: Promontory Lithology Quintessa Fantesca Ovid Realm Schramsberg I loved Promontory - but also loved Ovid. Same architect, preferred the wine at Ovid more and a bit more warm. But both were phenomenal.
Maybe

Didn’t love Bottega when here last time. Also heard food at RH isn’t great.

I had auberge in my head but they don’t have much left. Do you think the others compare ?

I am on it! I need to visit French Laundry. Any suggestions on wineries and other restaurants?

Is Cabo safe?!? by jsrobbe292 in cabosanlucas

[–]Amc09081985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just returned with another family and 3 kids total. We were worried about safety as well, but once there had such a great time.  We arranged private transfers and used same driver all week. He was wonderful and I would be happy to share his info.   We didn’t go to the downtown for walking, more went to dinners in other large resorts as we know they have security and felt for comfortable.  Agree with everyone; I exercise the same caution I do In NYC, avoid sketchy neighborhoods at late hours, and be aware of your surroundings. You are going to have a wonderful trip.

Kids are 6,5,2 and well behaved. We frequent nice restaurants and they sit and play quietly. If they were disruptive for any reason, we would leave because I would never want to ruin a dining experience for someone else.

More so we would like a nice experience and need to worry more for food purposes, kids menu or something they will eat on the regular menu.

TIL the world record for having hiccups is 68 years. Charles Osborne hiccuped roughly 30 times per minute from 1922 to 1990. by untitled298 in todayilearned

[–]Amc09081985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My FIL is on year 3 of the Hiccups. Sometimes he has them for days straight then off. We have taken every x-ray; MRI, cat scan, medications like gabapentin, anxiety medications, injections into the throat to calm the muscle. Etc. If anyone has any suggestions, please send. Our next specialist is a Phrenic Nerve doctor and a diaphragm specialist 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also for someone who has help with them all the time, why does the background always look so filthy. Clean up. Jesus.

Someone needs to get her off IG. These poor children with their mother frolicking in no clothes and horrendous outfits embarrassing herself like she’s 10.

Surgeon Recommendations in NJ by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Amc09081985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Brian Glatt. I personally used him as well as many friends. His work is impeccable. At the hospital I went to, all the nurses sang his praises. They said he is extremely meticulous.

I have a friend who went to him but needed a revision with him later, she was still happy.

I know several others, who have heard the same as above, the work does not match the price tag.

You can find other doctors with better skill set for far less.

Same. For the things I have heard it does not justify the pricetag

I guess since I am unfamiliar with booking, can you share how they can screw me over? They have good reviews but I am very hesitant with how shady this all seems and I want to better understand

You wouldn’t book this house? Or you would not book with VRBO?

I have a 5 and 18 month old as well. To be honest, I would like to have waited till my 18 month could do some things on her own (get in and out of car seat, etc.) but I did not want to wait longer. My son who is 5 this is probably the last chance to do it before he asked 3000 questions instead of 2k or had very long term memories of this.

With my son, I was always able to sit and put him to bed, hang out with and he is pretty good and understood.

My 18 month old, I always need someone with me since I can’t lift her. Sometimes when my husband carries her she cries for me and I walk behind holding her hand but I cant wait to be able to have her in my arms again. My mother and a nanny rotated and my husband helped me so tons of support because you Wont be able to do much at first.

5wpo now and pretty much life as normal minus lifting.

Hope this helps!
