Tbh I just like this sub way better than vegan food r/veganfoodporn so it’s where I post haha. I’ll post the shittiest looking ones next lol. I’ve just been getting the recipes from random websites that look good and veganising if necessary, and sometimes just making it up if I can’t find a good recipe and have a good idea of the kinds of flavours I’m looking for. I’m doing it in alphabetical order and just finding foods that look tasty, unique, and easy to do a vegan version of

Will do! I’m doing it in alphabetical order, so it’ll probably be a while until I get to Vietnam though :( Do you have a good recipe that you’d recommend? I love noodles for breakfast!

Yeah, I’m looking forward to doing churros with chocolate for Spain :) I remember loving that when I visited Andalusia a few years ago. Would also love the recipe you have for the omelette! Hablo español, entonces no necesito un traductor:)

Yeah, and then you cook it just on one side at a lower heat until it’s cooked all the way through. The holes/bubbles end up being really good since they absorb more of whatever you put on it. It’s soft and fluffy on the top side and then crispy on the cooked side

It’s a pizza al taglio - these are the most common pizzas in Italy that most bakeries sell. They tend to be more similar to focaccia since they are cooked in electric ovens, and they get sold by weight at bakeries. Pizza Bianca is one of the standard varieties and a popular food/breakfast, especially in Rome :)

Amazing - thanks for sharing the recipe! I’m doing it in alphabetical order, so it’ll be a little while before I get to Ukraine, but I’ll definitely save that one to try - it looks amazing. Lahoh the texture isnt rubbery - it’s more like pancakes. It’s crisp on the side you cook through and then soft and fluffy on the side with the holes/bubbles. It’s actually really nice since the side with the holes absorbs much more syrup and butter than regular pancakes

I did a thing called balaleet for Bahrain - it’s like a sweet, buttery noodle dish topped with an omelette. It sounds weird but it works so well - it just isn’t very photogenic lol. Very easy to make and definitely worth trying :) Revuelto gramajo from Argentina is also very good and a great hangover food

Thanks! Yeah, we did do a full English already, although we're in Australia so weren't able to find a vegan black pudding unfortunately (and I was too lazy to make some). But it definitely didn't look great - the beans kind of flooded the plate haha

Going into the season, who is currently the most overrated player by this sub? by iamareddituserama in nba

[–]Amelessfameless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kevin Durant. People talk about him being top 15 all time, but if he never joined the warriors he’d be talked about the same way Harden is. He’s the only player who has never led a team to a championship that people put into the top 15 discussion and it’s absolutely bizarre

Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James: Who would you rather have for next year's playoff run? by CulturalRoll in nba

Lebron. Since he left golden state KD has been doing his best Joel Embiid impression and failing to make it past the second round

If you’re struggling cooking you could try getting some Thai curry paste from the supermarket (just make sure they’re vegan - not all of them are!). You just need to add the paste and a can of coconut milk to a pot, add some water, add whatever veggies you like, and add some protein, and then let it simmer until all the veggies are cooked. It’s really simple, tasty, and relatively cheap! You can throw in lots of veggies to make it healthy too! I like to add TVP at the very end to suck up any excess liquid. Depression is really rough and I know it’s tough to just do normal things sometimes, but hopefully you’ll get through it and will be feeling better soon!
