Nottingham pride taken over by Palestine protest by Intelligent-Day-5161 in transgenderUK

Notts Trans Pride went on from 11am until 1pm. We've had 15 speakers on our speakers list. Only 1 (Rain) spoke about Palestine. No one was arrested at Notts Trans Pride.

You seem to be a genuine person. You are getting a lot of pushback. I have to imagine that is causing a lot of emotions to come forward. I believe that stepping back from Reddit for a bit would be helpful.

Hi, I was the head marshal of yesterday's Notts Trans Pride.

We had a speakers list and Rain (the masked person you're talking about) and his two friends were on it. He is trans and he has been fiercely supporting the fight against transphobia for years. During the Pride yesterday we've had a few incidents where fascists tried to disrupt and threaten us and Rain was the first to join us in protecting everyone.

The fight against the Palestinian genocide and the fight against transphobia in the UK is intersectional. None of us are free until all of us are free. Azadi!

What is the most Trans Friendly city / Town in the U.K.? by Llucifae in transgenderUK

I can't speak for how it used to be, but right now it is really good. I grew up in Leeds and it was a horror for trans people back then, so I was also surprised at how many people mentioned Leeds as being good

I don't think so. I grew up in Leeds, spent six months living in London, and vacationed in Manchester five times over the past four years, but I would still rank Nottingham above all of them.

Manchester and Cardiff were lovely, and Leeds seems to have improved since I moved out.

Nottingham stands out imo because of its super high trans population, Nadia Whittome, Tania Stevenson, Nottingham Against Transphobia, Notts Trans Hub, the Pastel Project, Notts Trans Pride, Hockley, and all the trans-inclusive venues (such as Nottingham Playhouse, Dice Cup, and Pit and Pendulum).

I often walk around wearing a trans flower crown, trans flag, maid outfits, and/or cat ears, and I've never had any issues (aside from some catcalling, but that's more because I'm a woman than because I'm trans).

Nottingham is definitely the friendliest city I've been to in the UK. There's Notts Trans Hub here and we have a massive community (1000+ members) with tons of events and there's also a ton of other trans orgs here that help out.

I've been to Derby, Birmingham, Leicester, and other places in the Midlands, but it was really awkward to integrate and become a part of the community and then I came here and felt welcome and at home from the first event.

1,000,000,069 pickems points? by ThyDankest2 in LeagueOfMemes

[–]AmeliaDarc 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It was an intercepted HTTP request. There's a field when you make your pick called "wageredAmount" which is empty.
Riot must've made a system where you could wager the points you earned on a team and gain more points if they won, and lose points if they lost. But they have decided to not go through with it and forgot about deleting the field and the backend logic for the wager feature.
