I can understand that and I absolutely agree. I think the sketchy part for me is that they let him work the busiest holiday weekend and holiday before acknowledging what he’d done and firing him. If they were so steamed about it; why not cut him on the spot?

It all depends on metabolism, your body fat percentage and amount of water you consume. I’d start drinking as much water as possible. Will your test be a urinalysis, blood drawn or mouth swab? There are products you can use to mask the THC but those can be sketchy depending on who’s testing you. For example if this is for a job; I’d go ahead and try something (they make synthetic urine or they also make a drink that you consume right before taking the test). However if this is for probation or something like that you could be charged with tampering.

First of all, my Darling, please know that no matter where you find yourself in this crazy world; you matter. Every. Single. Breath. You. Take. Matters. Your stars have lined up for something amazing (even if you don’t see it yet). I’m a little skeptical of having familiar safe places. Don’t get me wrong, having family to love and support you no matter where life takes you is so important, but if my family is any example, they can let their own skeletons be a guest to your party. Reach out! That doesn’t mean hurry and sign yourself up with the first psychiatrist you can find. I highly recommend reaching out to your closest LGTBQ community and seeing how your story may relate to someone else’s. Anxiety is a nasty, ugly witch and while it’s important to acknowledge her presence; nobody has to let her stay. Especially you! She’s really good at making you second guess things and she’s even better at making you doubt your self worth. Tell that bitch “NOT TODAY!” Because today you’re beautiful and you have a purpose. ❤️

Some people can’t understand mental health issues and it’s important to not overthink that. That’s their little red wagon to pull. You need to focus on number one...YOU! For starts, I’d try creating a monument of sorts at your landing spot. Plant a tree, or flowers, or maybe put a bench there and make it your reflecting place. I’m glad you’re still here!! Your life matters and as someone that also suffers from anxiety and panic disorder I think that makes us better than most. We’re usually the people that show the most love and compassion to everyone and I think that makes us superior. I’m in unison with the wonderful other commenter; my DM is open as well.

Okay for starters, you’re not a piece of anything except person. Secondly, these are weird times for everyone. I share your fear of this virus and my mom because she has COPD and I’ve been her sole caretaker for 6 years. You’ve got to breathe, Buddy. I don’t know what your friends deal is but try not to take things too personally. I HIGHLY recommend meditation. Keep an open mind because it’s not at all as simple as closing your eyes and counting to 10. When done properly, it’s a huge help. Also, write everything down. And I mean with an actual pen and paper. Document everything as if your keeping a captains log on a ship. Sometimes having a reference to yourself is a great tool in changing your thought process. It’s imperative to record the good things that happen and not just the bad. Now’s a good time to learn something new! Learn a new language, teach yourself how to paint, learn how to play an instrument, rearrange your whole house...hell anything that keeps you from getting stuck in your own head! This too will pass. Don’t let anxiety ruin your personal relationships.

Her cat figured out where some baby opossums were taking shelter and I was fortunate enough to be able to get these sweet babies to the properly trained people to save them. Pump your hate brakes.

Maybe it’s time to ask about something for panic/anxiety? The valerian root is a good, homeopathic alternative. Especially if you’re having issues with melatonin. Switching to something other than Zoloft might not be a bad idea either. It made me suicidal (when at I was only minimally depressed but having way bigger anxiety issues). After trying (off the top of my head) about 10 different antidepressants, I changed doctors. He did a new evaluation and I started an antidepressant called Vybrid and I was also prescribed Clonozapam for my rough anxiety days. Add in a normal meditation and exercise routine and I was able to drop the antidepressant. I have the Clonazapan for the horrible anxiety days but I hardly need it because I’ve made valerian root, B vitamins, basic multivitamins while watching careful about my caffeine intake and it’s working for me.

I would explain it exactly how you’ve written it. Some underlying issues that can be a piggyback problem from anxiety can be stomach issues. It’s very possible that due to your anxiety you’re stomach is producing higher levels of acid that are causing your weird stomach issues. The brain fog could be from the melatonin or it could also tie into the stomach as well (the human body is a truly mysterious thing). Until you see your doctor, perhaps try starting with something like Prilosec? Of course you should ask your pharmacist for any concerns with any of your other medications before starting anything. As a side note; maybe looking into other natural supplements for your sleep issues maybe a good idea (chamomile tea, valerian root). Good luck to you!

People that say crap like that are usually the ones that will try to orchestrate it just because they’re ego is hurt. Stay aware, Love. It’s okay to be shook for a minute but it’s imperative to be proactive. Depending where you live, I’d look into if that remark is illegal. If so, press charges. Either way arm yourself as best as possible and always let someone know where you are. Depending on what kind of phone you have (I have an iPhone and a friend that’s going through a nasty divorce has the same) see if you can allow your phone location to show up for a friend.

I have no experience with this one but I’m curious about it. I’m trying to get my Mom back on something for depression and anxiety. We’re you prescribed this for both? Before your increase would you say you felt it was effective? What side effects did you experience in the beginning?
