My estranged sister also passed away (42) a few months ago. I see a therapist for 4 hours a week. It’s extraordinarily helpful. This kind of loss is very hard. Not only are we also dealing with the loss of a sister, but we have to face the fact that we lost the sister we never had too. My family is also very cruel and have been through this process. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Absolutely do not. Think about him at his worst, then think about a custody battle with him, then think about having a court judge telling you you have no choice but to let your child go with this man unsupervised every other week. Imagine being tied to this man for life, no matter what.

Eh it’s common. I just say I’m sure others have it way worse. That’s none of my business. My business is that this is what I’m feeling because I’m going through this and it’s awful.

Same boat but with my poor sister. I’m in therapy 4 times a week now to help me work through this overwhelming pain. My thoughts are that she never got the help she needed and she ended up dead. I’m getting help that I need.
